Why Spread When You Can Cut And Place

If you’ve been putting off a cleaning of the internals of your system because you are worried you might need to pop off your heatsink and reapply thermal paste after scrubbing your cooler then check out this review at TechPowerUp.  The Thermal Grizzly KryoSheet offers a way to skip the paste, instead using a thermally conductive graphene sheet you cut to size and place on the CPU die.  They are intended to work anywhere thermal paste or pads are currently used, for instance in their review TPU tested the Thermal Grizzly KryoSheet on an ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX, with a 475W TDP.

There is no adhesive so you do need to be a bit careful when you install the sheet, but not really any more difficult than dealing with paste. When TPU popped the cooler off after some heavy usage they could see indents on the thermal sheet, proving it will fill in any uneven spots.  As for the performance, it meets or beats traditional TIMs which makes it rather attractive.  There are a few things to keep in mind though, such as the slight electrical conductivity of the Thermal Grizzly KryoSheet.
