Insight into video editing
Insight into video editing systems is great news. With the increase avchd capture devices and importance of editing video for the web it always surprises me on the lack of editing system information. I will look forward to your system build information. Including a component list similar to your hardware leader board (dream, high end, budget)in the summation would be a great addition to your completed system summary .

Actually, these are NOT ECC modules. The Xeon CPUs in this series don't require it.

Can't wait to see the video editing beast and to see how the one I build with the i7-2600k and 16GBs or RAM stacks up against it (once Z68 comes out so I can buy the mobo and the CPU - everything else is already purchased).

Going by the speed of the RAM
Going by the speed of the RAM and the fact you’re using them with Xeons, are these ECC DIMMs?

Also, I’ve noticed that Micron are sampling 1600 ones and was wondering if you could ask your Corsair reps when they’d be offering ECC DIMMs in the higher speed rating.
