DigiTimes has broken the news that NVIDIA will be cutting prices on many of their cards in reaction to AMD's new GPU family. Currently the lowest priced GTX660 is $150 after MIR and a GTX650Ti Boost can be had for $110. We don't have any information as to how they will be updating the GTX 760, likely faster clocks but we can hope for something a little more adventurous. The GTX 760 can be had for $250 right now but you should hold off to see what the new model has and what it does to the price of the current model.
"Nvidia has offered price cuts for several of its graphics cards including the GTX 660 and GTX 650Ti Boost and will soon release an upgraded GTX 760, targeting AMD's Radeon R9 280X, according to sources from graphics card makers."

I already have one 760,
I already have one 760, wouldn’t mind a second, especially if it’s cheaper.
Waiting for GTX 770 to drop
Waiting for GTX 770 to drop below $300.
Have a feeling I am going to be waiting a looooong time 🙁
Yes sir. I just got a 4GB GTX
Yes sir. I just got a 4GB GTX 770 a couple of months ago. I’m actually really stoked that AMD’s 280X is able to put up a fight at it’s lower price point. We may not see the 770 below $300 anytime soon, if ever, but I have a feeling the price will drop more than it would have otherwise.
Can’t wait to SLI a pair of these beasts once that happens.
You must get SLI! It is truly
You must get SLI! It is truly the best bang for $$
Same here actually..i dont
Same here actually..i dont think they will be dropping the prices anytime soon too, rather follow the same approach of amd by bundling the card with some neat add ons… (honestly, i would prefer the price drop though)
I know the pricing for the
I know the pricing for the 650ti Boost and 660 are now very attractive, I’m just a little gun shy of buying “last year’s” tech.
750ti? Any news on that card?
750ti? Any news on that card?
How about a 760 Ti, that uses
How about a 760 Ti, that uses the same chip as the GTX670(as in amount of shaders, I know they are all GK104s), but with higher clocks
It would be genius if nVidia
It would be genius if nVidia did their line up as follows:
GTX Titan – Drops to $750
GTX 780 – Drops to $550
GTX 770 – Drops to $320
GTX 760 Ti – Priced at $250(an up-clocked GTX 670)
GTX 760 – Drops to $200
GTX 750 Ti – Priced at $170 (an up-clocked GTX 660)
GTX 750 – Priced at $150 (an up-clocked GTX 650 Ti/BOOST)
GTX 740 – Priced at $100 (a re-badged GTX 650 Ti)
That’s how an intelligent company would react to AMD’s latest card. Still on the fence on whether nVidia is run by intelligence, ignorance, greed or a combination of them.
