With Ryan’s hands up in the video shown, I was a expecting more of a mea culpa on the AMD APU memory controversy.
Anyhow, let me explain my purchase of 2200G APU. It will not be a dedicated gaming rig (obviously), but I may play some games on it a some point, if ever. This will be a lower cost rig used mostly for work and home stuff. I usually have purchased lower end intel chips in the past for this type of computer, but the AMD 2200g at $99 is a great price. So great, I can afford to spend a little more for memory. Which isn’t that much more. 2400 vs 3000, cost $5 more. This is a nice (near) future proof rig that can easily be upgraded to high end stuff. I have looked around, and all dd4 is crazy high at any speed, even 2133 is near 150. Kudos to AMD for putting this chip out, even if it requires more memory speed.
Personally, no low end build is worth it. You can always find a OEM box for less than 500. I did spend more, because I didn’t want to wait for a OEM solution with the AMD APU, but I bet these will be out soon with a great price. AMD keep up the good work!

I hear you. I lucked out and happened to buy a couple LPX 3000 kits when 16gb was $115.
