Well not being able to
Well not being able to participate last night really bummed me out.
On tuesday the restaurant I was cheffing at closed it’s door for the last time. Now I’m outa work, not that it’s a problem finding work it’s just I f-ing hate looking, there are alot of co-workers that I have become very close too that I am probably never gona see again, not to mention that since it’s a bankruptcy If I see $0.10 to the dollar on my last check and 4% within 3 months I’ll be lucky. Just wanted to watch my pcper and chat and have a little fun, but NO, video down, and like alot of others for some reason I couldn’t get the twitch feed to load.
I know you, Ken, are not responsible for any of this but it was a total bummer and I’m just feeling sorry for myself today.
Till next week I guess.
Sorry to hear about the job.
Sorry to hear about the job. Always a bummer. Double that with the feed issues we were having last night.

Listening to Allyn talk about
Listening to Allyn talk about storage spaces it got me wondering what he’s currently using for his personal NAS. I’ve probably spent over a month now pondering over my options. ZFS? BTRFS? ReFS? Dual Parity? Triple parity? ECC? Freenas? NAS4Free? OpenMediaVault? Server 2012?
I think I probably have have 10 times as many questions now as when I started. I really with ZFS/Freenas had support for dynamically adjusting pools. It’s seems like the best current home implementation but it’s going to be a royal PITA down the road when I fill up my 3TB drives and have to enlarge my storage.
What are you using Allyn? Even if it’s out of range of the average home setup I’d be interested to see what software you’re using.
