Whoever Fights With Windows Preview Versions …

Techgage has compiled a look at the current state of Windows 11, 27 days before it’s scheduled launch.  Instead of focusing on the issues currently present, instead they walk you through the process of setting up Microsoft’s new OS on a computer, from installation through to customization.

The installation screens are a little different than previous years, but not enough to throw off anyone with even a passing familiarity to the process.  One nice change is that Windows 11 asks if you would prefer to enter a network name instead of using the generated one, which saves you time later on.

Take a look through the various screens, from the default setup and other layout options through to the new Start Menu and the return of Widgets as well as what Techgage feels about the new OS right here.

The launch of Windows 11 is right around the corner, so we wanted to dive into the current preview to get a good look at what’s coming – and help you figure out whether or not you should be excited to upgrade. If you’re keen on performance comparisons, don’t fret: we’ll tackle that at official launch.
