The Corsair Crystal 460X RGB is described as a compact ATX case, at 440x220x464mm it is less deep than many ATX cases thanks to the complete lack of a standard drive cage. It will still fit two 3.5″ drives and three 2.5″ drives hidden away on the back of the case or in line with the bottom mounted PSU. The front and side panel are tempered glass to show of the glow of your internal components and the front fans sport LEDs which can be controlled with the six fan lighting hub.

"If there are two big trends in computer accessories and peripherals these days, it’s “tempered glass” and “RGB illumination”. And if you can combine the two, as Corsair has done with the Crystal 460X RGB Compact ATX mid-tower case, so much the better!"

Thats the actual case I
Thats the actual case I picked for a R71700 build.
Its decent, but not perfect.
Biggest appointment’s is the led controller.
You have RGB fan, but they can only be 7 color
and worse of all, only be on, off, or FLASHING
So if you want your fan pink. cant do that.
You want the color to cycle ? cant do that.
The back fan grill is narrow.
Not practical/efficient if you have a AOI 140nm fan.
But the part thats a PAIN is the front air filter.
It catches tons of particle because of the 3 fan,
thats good, but to clean it you have to unscrew the glass front.
You need to clean this at least once a week, or your PC look dirty. It takes a few minutes to remove the glass panel,
and you get finger marks all over the place.
So for sure this is V0.1
I always thought that
I always thought that computer cases are made out of metal for a reason. Was I wrong?
U can cycle the colors, case
U can cycle the colors, case is metal and glass.
The cycling is not pleasing
The cycling is not pleasing because you have 2 mode.
a) flash to the next color
b) fade to black
The other issue is that the color picked are not of equal brightness
So you go from a dark blue to a super bright white.
The most pleasing color cycling I seen is from Razer where they have constant brightness smooth color cycling.
But thats impossible to program on this controller.
Also because the front panel is tied to the corsair controller, unless corsair release a compatible model that can be USB programmed you are stuck with a very limited setup. (or forgo the usage of the from pnnel control buttons.
