A new set of NVIDIA graphics drivers have been released. GeForce 446.14 Game Ready Drivers focus on optimizations for Valorant, Minecraft Dungeons, Disintegration, and Crucible. Valorant is a free-to-play first-person shooter from Riot Games, which is best known for League of Legends. The game is based on Unreal Engine 4, and it is scheduled for June 2nd.
This is also the first GeForce driver that targets Windows 10 version 2004. This new refresh of Windows 10 has a handful of interesting features. The big one for graphics devices is an overhaul of multi-monitor refresh rates. If you have mismatched monitors (like my 144 Hz panel surrounded by three 60 Hz displays) then you might notice microstutter. That should be mostly fixed with the new update, and it would not surprise me if graphics drivers needed to compensate for that.
There are also a handful of bugs fixed in this driver. The major one that I see (besides a few crashes) is a fix for severe stutters when using SLI. There is also a note HDR might over-brighten certain games, which has also been fixed.
