HyperX peripherals supporting the gaming community
CES 2021 opens up for virtual attendance this week, and HyperX is announcing availability for several products aimed right at the PC and console gaming arena. New products include a diminutive 60% mechanical gaming keyboard and Xbox Duo charge controller station. They are also expanding world wide availability for some very attractive gear in their Cloud wireless headsets and Haste speed lightened mouse.
"Gaming became an even more go-to activity this year as people searched for safe, entertaining ways to stay connected with friends and family, HyperX’s new product lineup reflects our ongoing commitment to the ever growing gaming community to deliver best in class products for whenever or however one plays." - Daniel Kelley, director of corporate marketing
Alloy Origins 60 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard
This is the company’s first keyboard at the 60 percent scale size, and it’s a colorful one. Need to give your mouse movements more free range? This space-saving layout appeals to users having desk space issues, or would like a smaller mechanical RGB keyboard on the go perhaps. The keyboard uses HyperX’s red linear switches for short travel time and a reported very responsive action. The keycaps are PBT double-shot with their secondary functions printed on the sides. The RGB lighting control uses their in-house NGENUITY software. The keyboard can hold lighting and macro settings with it’s own on-board memory. Personally, I have space challenges at my office and would like to get some hands-on for a review with this one. Availability in the US starts on February 22nd with an MSRP of $99.99 on the HyperX online shop. Check this out.
XBox Charge Controller Station
Get your dual charge on with this officially licensed gear. The ChargePlay Duo is designed for the Xbox, but is compatible with the Series X/S and Xbox One wireless controllers. The product features LED indicators on the weighted base which display the charging status for each controller. Each ChargePlay Duo also includes two 1400mAH rechargeable battery packs. Availability starts in the US in February within the HyperX online shop at an MSRP of $39.99..
Wireless Cloud Headsets
HyperX is also announcing the world wide availability for two of their popular gaming headsets, the Cloud II Wireless and the Cloud Revolver +7.1. HyperX states that the Cloud II Wireless builds on the Cloud II’s design, comfort, performance and durability. The Cloud II offers 53mm drivers, and custom-tuned virtual 7.1 surround sound. The wireless “gaming-grade” headset operates over the 2.4GHz band and portends to offer up to 30 hours of battery life and 20 meters of wireless range. HyperX states that the Cloud Revolver Gaming Headset +7.1 features immersive sound, wide audio range, and a studio-grade sound stage. They feature 7.1 virtual surround with 50mm directional drivers, helping to more precisely locate sounds – especially helpful in first-person shooters or other wide ranging open environment games.
Headsets such as these are in great demand as they work rather well for situations we find ourselves in lately – not only in heavy gaming sessions, but work and school from home. World wide availability should be now with MSRP of $149.99 for either headset.
Mouse Making Haste
HyperX also announces global availability for their Pulsefire Haste ultra-light mouse. The Pulsefire Haste features a honeycomb hex shell design that can offer quicker movements and obviously increases ventilation. Away with your sweaty palms! The mouse features TTC Golden Micro Dustproof switches with a 60M click durability, six programmable buttons and onboard memory. The bottom skates are built with PTFE for low friction glide movements, and also utilizes the HyperFlex USB cable, specifically designed to reduce tension and resistance. Also includes is grip tape for application on the sides or switches, and a replacement set of PTFE glide skates. The RGB is customizable with their NGENUITY software, which also includes personalization settings for DPI, button assignments and macros. Clearly designed for speed and airflow. The Pulsefire Haste is available direct from the HyperX store with an MSRP of $49.99.
