The Classic Pairing Of Phison’s PS5026-E26 And Micron 232-layer 3D TLC NAND

Corsair have added the MP700 Pro SE to the list of PCIe 5.0 drives you can consider picking up.  The 4TB version that TechPowerUp tested has 8GB of Hynix DDR4-4266 cache and 400GB of SLC cache to handle bursts of data.  That does add up to an expensive drive, the MSRP is $635 and you can expect higher pricing over time.  The MP700 Pro SE ships naked, you will have to provide your own cooling solution and with power consumption as high as 11W you should definitely give it a decent cooler.

If you can cool it properly, you can expect to see sequential reads hitting 14 GB/s and 12.5 GB/s write.  That won’t have a huge impact on your game loading speed, but if you are running something that depends on fast storage, the MP700 Pro SE is about as good as you will find on the market.  Behold it’s prowess in the full review.

The Corsair MP700 Pro SE solid-state-drive boasts impressive speeds of up to 14 GB/s, thanks to the lightning-fast PCI-Express 5.0 interface. In our review we're testing the 4 TB version, which offers tons of space and incredible performance that's the best of all the drives we tested so far.
