Microsoft Teams Has A Bit Of A Wobble

Source: Bleeping Computer Microsoft Teams Has A Bit Of A Wobble

It Would Make For A Peaceful Day, Except For All The Screaming

If you are having issues with Microsoft Teams, you are not alone and more importantly it’s not your fault.  Shortly over an hour ago Microsoft posted an incident that is affecting Teams everywhere but the APAC region.  The database that manages Teams is having network issues and you and your users should expect to see missing messages, or even an Ooops message if they shut down and restart their machines in an attempt to resolve the issue.

If you are setting up a new computer, Teams will fail to load if you are lucky enough for it to install in the first place.  It is little comfort to know that there is nothing you can do to get Teams back up and running, but at least you can stop checking your own infrastructure for the cause.  It’s Friday, so perhaps you should do a little literal face time with some coworkers and friends and head down to the pub for a pint and wait for Microsoft to get the app we all love to hate back up and running.

Our review of service telemetry indicates a portion of database infrastructure that facilitates multiple APIs is experiencing a networking issue, resulting in impact. We're continuing our investigation to isolate the underlying cause of the networking issue and develop remediation actions.
