As far as the stats go, the Acer Aspire Timeline has an Intel Core 2 solo SU3500 CPU, 4GB of RAM, 320GB of storage, and a 14-inch 1366 x 768 powered by the Intel GMA 4500MHD. It is very mobile, at 3.5lbs and not much more than an inch thick; not quite as thin as a Macbook Air, but nowhere near the price either. Acer claims an 8 hour battery life, a claim that I4U checked out using Battery Eater with all the Aspire’s battery saving features off. Even with that abuse they were seeing a 4 hour lifespan, which backs up Aspire’s claim if you use the power savings settings during typical usage.
