Announced tonight at The Game Awards, it has been officially confirmed after a few days of rumors what Arkane Lyon’s next game is. The company announced today that they are making Blade.
Blade sits alongside Indiana Jones as a popular IP adaptation from Film to Video Game by an Xbox internal studio. Many fans have been asking Xbox to develop more video game adaptations based on popular IP, and Blade fits that billing.
Blade is a popular Marvel superhero character who first appeared for mainstream audiences with 1998’s Blade, the first of a trilogy of films. Blade is set to return in 2025 with a new entry starring Academy Award winning actor Mahershala Ali.
